Media personality KieKie addresses people who are ashamed of speaking their local language to avoid being called razz

Popular Nigerian media personality and actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori also known as KieKie, has addressed people who are ashamed to speak their local language for fear of being called razz.

Taking to social media, Kiekie wrote a long note to people who don’t speak her native language.

Kiekie says that the fact that some people don’t embrace their native dialects because they don’t want to be called razz or local really breaks her heart.

Before urging people to be proud of where they come from, she went on to say that she cannot comprehend how some Nigerians came up with the definition of razz or local. Additionally, Kiekie demanded an end to the stigmatization that exists while the outside world learns our language and sells it to us. Kiekie claims that our local language is even more beautiful than the English language.
