Keyamo Reacts To Tinubu’s Huge Crowd As He Arrives In Borno For His Campaign Rally
Bola Asiwaju Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, has stormed Borno State for a campaign rally less than a week before the election.
The former governor of Lagos State can be seen being greeted in the state by a large number of supporters in the videos and photos that have been trending online. The public has responded to the videos and pictures, and Festus Keyamo, the spokesman for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, was one of those who did so.
Keyamo said that Tinubu’s arrival in Maiduguri, Borno State’s capital, was a triumphant entry and that because Borno is traditionally not a PDP state, the reception was to be expected. He stated that, despite the fact that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party, is from Borno State, he did not receive more than ten percent of the vote there in the 2019 election.
He wrote, “Triumphant entry of Bola Tinubu to Maiduguri” in the tweet he sent using his verified Twitter handle. However, it was not unexpected. Borno has long been against the PDP. In 2019, Atiku only received ten percent of the vote. And that is where he lives.”
Thriumphal entry of @officialABAT to Maiduguri. Not unexpected, though. Borno is a traditional anti-PDP State. Atiku did not even get 10 percent here in 2019. And that is his region! pic.twitter.com/dneAe4lxDm

It is important to note that Kashim Shettima, Tinubu’s running mate, is a former governor of Borno State. He was governor of the state from 2011 to 2019, and many people are wondering if this will affect how the Borno State election goes.
