Peter Obi Wins Tinubu In Lagos
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was defeated by Mr. Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party, in Lagos, where there have been some predictions that Tinubu will win because he served as the state’s governor for eight years in his political career and because the current governor of the state is a member of the All Progressives Congress.
The All Progressives Congress’ Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was reportedly defeated by Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party, with the majority of the votes cast in the state, despite the latter gaining more local government areas than the former.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared all 20 local government election results (INEC). In 11 local government areas, Ahmed Tinubu was able to get the most votes, while Peter Obi triumphed in nine local government areas.
