Mykhaylo Mudryk, the new signing for Chelsea, shares his reaction to starting his new life in London
After a poor start to his new life in London, Chelsea striker Mykhailo Mudryk shared a message on social media. The Blues acquired 22-year-old Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk for approximately £89 million last month. He had stunned Europe with 10 goals and 8 assists in 18 games for his childhood club in all competitions this season prior to his big move.
The Ukraine international is a right-footed striker with speed and honesty, but he hasn’t been able to replicate his recent form at Stamford Bridge. So far, he has started three of the Blues’ four games.
But he decided to keep going with the challenge and said on social media that he has a big point to prove. He writes in his Instagram story:
“I’m here to show everyone what a Ukrainian man is. A fighter. A fighter who likes a challenge A fighter is born to overcome challenges. Nothing haunts a reckless man. by victory.” “A warrior may lose battles along the way, but in the end, that warrior will win.”
For Graham Potter’s team, Mudryk has been ranked as the primary left winger. His contract with the Blues runs through June 2031. If he does not perform well in the subsequent games, he will face competition from Christian Pulisic and Raheem Sterling for a starting position. He is expected to play against Southampton on Saturday, February 18 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
