Victor Osimhen Is Now The Third Most Valuable Striker In The World
Victor Osimhen is now the third most valuable striker in the world, according to popular statistics medium, Transfer market. Osimhen is ranked only behind Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
The 24-year-old was the top scorer in Serie A last season with 26 goals from 32 games.
Norway and Manchester City striker Haaland is joint-first with France and Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé as they are both most valuable players and strikers in the world valued at €180m.
Haaland was valued at €170m in January but saw a €10m increase after winning the treble and claiming the golden boot in his first season in the Premier League. Although, he and Mbappe are the same value, he is put in the first spot by virtue of being younger than Mbappé by two years.
It is no surprise that Osimhen takes number three spot as he became Serie A’s Capocannoniere in 2022/23, scoring 26 goals in 32 appearances and playing a crucial role as Napoli won their first Scudetto in 33 years.
